Wayne Kohler has announced his candidacy for re-election as Morris County Commissioner for District 1. Kohler has served as District 1 commissioner for 12 years. In announcing his candidacy, he said he has been honored to represent voters in the district and described his time on the commission as both “an eye-opening experience and a rewarding one.” “I make no promises,” Kohler said. “I will be fair and use common sense.”
Kohler said he does not plan to focus his campaign on listing projects and accomplishments completed by the county commission during his time in office. Instead, he said his approach remains centered on fairness, common sense and continued service to the residents of District 1 and Morris County.
Although Kohler previously indicated he would not seek another term, he said he has reconsidered that decision.
“I still have the passion and desire to represent District 1 and Morris County,” Kohler said.
Kohler is now officially announcing his candidacy for re-election as Morris County Commissioner, District 1. “I would appreciate your vote,” Kohler said.
