66th annual Hultgren family reunion held

The White City United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall was the site of the 66th annual reunion of the family of Gust and Nessie Hultgren.

The day started with visiting and eating. The business meeting was called to order by President Teresa (Hultgren) Champlin. Minutes of last year meeting were read and the treasurer’s report was given by Sheila (Hultgren) Burns, Secretary/treasurer. Both were approved. Champlin reported on some who could not be there and pointed out the memory table which held pictures and books of family history.

It was decided to hold the reunion next year on June 12, at the Lucky 7 Park at White City. Election of officers was held with the 2026 officers elected for another year, with those being president Teresa Champlin; vice-president Sharon Brown, secretary/ treasurer. Sheila Burns. The business meeting was adjourned for more visiting.

There were 50 present for the day with Steve and Meridella Anderson of Gaymills, Wisconsin coming the farthest. Oldest present was Avis (Hultgren) Pretzer and Nellie Hultgren, while the youngest was Brock Mortimor, Nellie’s great-grandson.
