The Council Grove City Council will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at City Hall, 205 N. Union St., Council Grove.
Items on the consent agenda include approval of minutes from the previous meeting and appropriations totaling $153,206.74.
Department reports are scheduled from Utilities Superintendent Derrick Craige and CVB Director Zoey Wadick. The City Administrator’s report will include discussion regarding K-177 highway resurfacing.
Under ordinances and resolutions, the council will consider Ordinance No. 2281 regarding parking of trailers and recreational vehicles.
Business items include a recommendation from the Recreation Committee, a community events application from Cooper Blackledge and a city inspector recommendation regarding Water Slide K-1.
Discussion items include a common consumption area, food trucks, committees, a downtown speaker system and a special meeting
