The Council Grove City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, at City Hall, 205 N. Union St., Council Grove, Kansas.
The regular meeting agenda includes approval of the agenda, proclamations and presentations, and a consent agenda that includes minutes from the previous regular meeting, minutes from a special meeting and appropriations.
Public comments and requests for items not on the agenda will be accepted before department reports. CVB Director Zoey Wadick and Police Chief Shawn Wangerin are scheduled to give reports.
City Administrator Nick Jones is scheduled to give his report, including information on the city budget.
Under ordinances and resolutions, the council is expected to consider Food Trucks/Trailers Ordinance No. 2282.
Business items include the appointment of Stuart Symmonds as city attorney, a community events application for Art Camp, a Planning and Zoning Commission recommendation, and City Lake Committee recommendations regarding J-14 and R-13.
The council also is scheduled to consider additional mill and overlay (See City Council agenda, Page 3) work from Bayer Construction, a recommendation regarding the utilities superintendent and city administrator, employee merit raises, and a notice to exceed the revenue neutral rate.
The agenda also includes discussion of committees, governing body comments and adjournment.
