Expect road delays near Junction City

KDOT says as construction progresses at the K-18/I-70 interchange in Geary County, motorists should be prepared for traffic changes beginning the week of June 22.

The K-18 and I-70 intersections are located at Exit 303 on the eastern edge of Junction City, Kansas, where K-18 branches northeast off the interstate toward Ogden and Manhattan Traffic on eastbound and westbound K-18 will be reduced to one 12-foot lane for median construction with a shoulder closure continuing north about .5 mile from southbound K-18/Boller Road.

Motorists should be aware that additional traffic changes on K-18 will take place as work progresses this year. The $27.5 million interchange project has a scheduled completion date of fall 2027.
