On June 22, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office received information on the possible location of a stolen vehicle. Deputies responded to the location and located a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 reported stolen in Morris County. A 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 was also recovered that was reported stolen from Shawnee County.
A search warrant was later executed at 612 Cypress in Dwight. Deputies located a 2016 Ford Focus and a 2009 Road Flatbed Trailer that were reported stolen from Morris County and a 2025 JBLC Motorbike reported stolen in Manhattan.
Deputies also seized 38.38 grams of marijuana, 98.75 grams of Methamphetamine, .56 grams of cocaine, a firearm, numerous drug paraphernalia items and other stolen property.
The following people were arrested in connection with this case: Ulric Sampson, Topeka, and Raul Hernandez, Leavenworth, Theft Conspiracy to Commit Theft; Randy C. Fetters Jr, Dwight, Theft Conspiracy to Commit Theft Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana Possession with Intent to Distribute, and Methamphetamine Possession of Cocaine Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Aggravated weapons violation by a convicted felon; Theft with the Intent to permanently deprive the owner; and No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp.
