Neosho Valley 4-H Club

The Neosho Valley 4-H Club meeting was held at The Dealership building on April 13, 2026. Gus Wainwright called the meeting to order. Korbyn Platz led The Pledge of Allegiance. The 4-H Pledge was led by Morgan Romme. Roll call was done, there were 17 members present, three leaders, and two guests.

The Secretary’s Report was given by Kassidy Belt, it was approved and signed. The Treasurer’s Report was given by Rachel Small. Morgan Romme gave the Reporter’s Report.

The Parliamentary Report was given by Hudson Lange, and it was about what procedures require action. The Committee Report was that the t-shirt committee is passing out t-shirts.

There was no Old Business this month. There was also no new business this month.

Daylen Nielsen and Korbyn Platz gave a talk about their trip to Washington DC and what they did while they were there. For recreation we played simon says led by Reed Romme. Paislee Yadon and Jaylee Engle led the club in singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.”

Announcements were if you have any items to donate for the garage sale please donate them and the 4-H building is looking for a new manager. Kiley moved to adjourn meeting Hudson 2nded, meeting adjourned.

The Neosho Valley monthly meeting was called to order by president, Gus Wainwright at 7pm on May 11th. Kiptyn Platz led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Dustin Small led us in the 4-H Pledge. There were 14 members, 2 leaders and 2 guests present.

The secretary’s report was given by Daylen Nielsen. A correction was needed. It was brought up that the spelling on Simon was needed. Correction was made. The Treasure’s Report was given by Rachel Small. Morgan Romme gave the Reporter’s Report.

Dustin Small gave the parliamentary report and talked about how to properly address the president. During the Committee Report the Washunga Committee asked members to think about if they are available to help set up and ride during the parade.

For Herdsmanship Nicole Hensley will have supplies, every 4-Her will be responsible for decorating their own area during check-in night. For the community leaders report, we talked about a learning clinic for swine, poultry, and rabbits on the 12th in White City.

There was no Old Business. There was also no New Business.

For project talks Morgan Romme talked about her rabbit project and what you do for the the rabbit project, including care and showing. She also told some facts about her Polish rabbit. She demonstrated how to set her rabbit up when showing. Paislee Yadon and Jaylee Engle led us in Happy Birthday for our song. Our recreation was Rock, Paper, Scissors led by Baylee Erlich.

Daylen Neilson moved that we adjourn the meeting and Paislee Yaydon seconded it. The meeting adjourned at 7:34pm.
