New Operations Manager announced at Pioneer Bluffs

Annabelle Arndt has been named Operations Manager at Pioneer Bluffs, working closely with Executive Director John Rogler and Donor Relations Director Lynn Smith. Raised in the countryside of Lyon County, Annabelle brings a deep appreciation for rural communities and the traditions that have shaped the Flint Hills region.

Ms. Arndt earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Emporia State University and has built her career in nonprofit leadership, project management, community engagement, training, program development, and rural storytelling as a published author.

Most recently, she served as the Prevention Coordinator for the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence, where she managed multi-year grant initiatives, coordinated statewide partnerships, developed educational resources, and provided training and technical assistance to professionals across Kansas. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with the public, community organizations, and statewide agencies while leading collaborative initiatives that strengthen rural communities.

In addition to her professional experience, Annabelle has served in numerous volunteer and leadership roles supporting education, child advocacy, and community development. She is passionate about preserving rural heritage, fostering meaningful connections, and creating opportunities for future generations to engage with the history and culture of the Flint Hills.
