The second annual Food and Forum Picnic Potluck will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the home of Ed and Marta Howe, 23224 Wildcat Hollow Road, Eskridge.
The event is planned as an opportunity for residents to gather in the spirit of community, share a meal and hear from informed speakers on topics important to rural communities in northeast Kansas.
Community, from the Latin word communitas, refers to fellowship and people sharing something in common. Organizers said the event is intended to recognize that communities have much more in common than they have differences.
