Friday, June 12th is Peanut Butter Cookie Day. If you join us at the center, we are going to enjoy fresh baked peanut butter cookies made by Mike Hastings. Yum. Thanks Mike. Jene Burenheide will be taking blood pressures from 11 a.m. until noon and after lunch is BINGO! You won’t want to miss the fun. And if you have tickets to go to River Suite, it is Friday night on the river bridge. Enjoy. Sunday, June 4th is Flag Day. Wear or bring in patriotic paraphernalia on Monday, and we’ll take pictures. Monday, June 15th is Red Rose Day. Who would you give a red rose to? We’ll pass out a Famous Fathers crossword puzzle before lunch. Kathleen Lane will play music for us before lunch and Matt Methvin will play the piano for us after lunch. Thanks Kathleen & Matt. Tuesday, June 16th is World Sea Turtle Day. Wear or bring in your Sea Turtles. We love to take your pictures. We’ll also celebrate Natl. Fudge Day and have music by Janett Eidman during and after lunch. What a GREAT day. Wednesday, June 17th is Natl. Eat Your Veggies Day. What’s your favorite? We may have a relish tray to celebrate. Do we need dip for that? Wear all shades of BLUE to help us celebrate Wear Blue Day and after lunch we’ll welcome the Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club. Thursday June 18th is Show & Tell Day! Be thinking about what you would like to bring in to show and tell us about. We love to see what you bring in. It’s also Natl. Splurge Day, so take a break from budgeting and treat yourself to something special. We’ll also pass out a Flower word search before lunch. On Friday, June 19th we’ll pass out a vacation word search in the morning. Jene Burenheide will be taking blood pressures from 11 a.m. until noon and after lunch is BINGO! Remember…your ticket to play is to eat lunch with us. So, get your name in the pot and come have some fun. The 19th is also Juneteenth. Many offices, banks, post offices etc. will be closed…but not us. So come on in.
To make your reservations for dine in, carryout, or delivery, please call 620-273-8511 any time BEFORE 9:30 a.m., or better yet, get on our regular meal list. Then you will only have to let us know if you are NOT going to eat.
