Anyone who considers USD 417 their home school is invited to return to Council Grove, Kansas, for the 2026 USD 417 Reunion on Saturday, June 27, at the 4-H Building. The reunion theme, “There’s No Place Like Home,” reflects an evening focused on reconnecting with friends and classmates while celebrating shared memories and community ties.
Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m., with dinner scheduled for 6 p.m. Activities for the evening will include music, a cash bar and a meal featuring baked ham and roast beef in gravy. Organizers are also planning a high school tour at 3 p.m., with participants meeting on the Hockaday side of the school.
The cost to attend is $23 per person if reservations are made before June 1. Reservations will still be accepted after June 1 through June 19, 2026 for $26 per person. Alumni and friends who are unable to attend may also submit donations to support the reunion.
Those planning to attend may take reservations to the Council Grove Republican at 302 W. Main in Council Grove, mail reservations and payment to USD 417 Reunion, P.O.
