Wabaunsee County Sheriff Eric Kirsch will join Nick Levendofsky, Executive Director of the Kansas Farmers and retired Kansas District Court Judge Trish Rose as the final speaker in the Food and Forum Picnic Potluck, scheduled for Saturday evening, June 20 at 23224 Wildcat Hollow Road, Eskridge.
Kirsch graduated with honors in 2004 from The Citadel in Charleston, SC, USA, serving for 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, honorably discharged as a Captain.
During his service in the U. S. Marine Corps and with national intelligence and investigative agencies, Kirsch completed elite counterintelligence, human source intelligence, and federal law enforcement training. His training included qualification as a Counterintelligence/Human Source Intelligence Officer, graduation from the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy as a Case Officer, and completion of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy as an NCIS Special Agent.
Wabaunsee County elected Kirsch as sheriff in 2024. He is a student of effective law enforcement, embracing mediation and de-escalation techniques. He created a Facebook page that attracts readers far and wide, world-wide that is. Kirsch is married to his wife, Jessica, herself a former Army Combat Helicopter Pilot and now a lawyer and the father 12-year old Sonja, a rising champion boxer.
The non-partisan gathering is a potluck picnic with participants asked to bring a covered dish and lawn chairs, Tableware, meat, water and tea will be provided.
