On June 13, Jackson Haas, 18, Topeka, was driving a 2019 Dodge Ram on 1300 Road when he struck a cow. More than $1,000 damage was caused. No injuries were reported or observed. He was wearing his seatbelt and the vehicle was driven away by Haas. The cow later died.
