On Sunday, July 12, at 4 p.m., the Dwight Public Library will host a free program, “Native American Ribbonwork Traditions.” The program will be presented by Jancita Warrington, a member of the Menominee and Potawatomi tribal nations. She will share the rich cultural tradition of woodland ribbonwork.

The Council Grove Mustangs 1 (Bolton’s) 10U recreation baseball team finished the regular season as Dickinson County Baseball League champions. The Mustangs placed first among 10 teams in the league, ending the regular season with an 8-1 record.

Highlights include mastodon teeth, a Tylosaurus skull from the Sternberg Museum of Natural History, an immersive visual space, a tree cross-section dating to the Revolutionary War era, and more artifacts from the last 250 years.
